2.

Conduct - All of the following rules of conduct will be strictly enforced.
All persons entering an OKS event or the event grounds will conduct themselves in a manner of respect for all others on the grounds whether in the stands, pits, on the track or otherwise. This includes behavior that is intended to intimidate any other person, fighting, cursing, or any other behavior that is disruptive to a peaceful event.
Drivers will be held responsible for the actions of their pit crew members as well as themselves and may be penalized due to actions of those they are responsible for. This responsibility extends to all OKS functions or events whether held on the track or any other place the OKS is gathered.
Any person who has consumed any alcoholic beverages on the day of any OKS event will not compete under any circumstance and any person on the grounds may be asked to leave the grounds at OKS officials request even if not in a driver or pit crew role.

5.

Race Rules - All competitors shall race with respect for all others on the racing surface including track officials.
Any foul driving, unnecessary bumping, crowding, chopping, blocking or other unsportsmanlike conduct will be subject to possible penalty by any means deemed appropriate including the following. 1. Loss of points for race 2. Suspension (race and/or season) 3. Revocation of awards (race and/or season). Continued rule infraction may lead to removal of racing points or privileges for any length of time chosen by officials.
First black will incur two (2) lap penalty. If any driver returns to race surface after two (2) lap penalty and fails to obey rules will be automatically disqualified from that event and receive zero (0) points for the event.
Drivers must be ready for others drivers that are faster. If a driver who is obviously reasonably faster attempts to pass, driver being passed must not block deliberately or impede the progress of the faster driver by bumping or pushing the faster driver.
When two or more drivers are entering the turn together, the vehicle that is behind, whether it is an inch or several feet, must not interfere or endanger the progress of the driver in front. Also, the driver in front must not take a deliberate course for the reason of crowding or impeding the following driver off the course.
Kart used in heat racing must be the same kart used in the feature. Any Change of karts will place drivers starting position in the feature at the rear of the field.
If you wish to compete in more than one class/event for the day, you must be register prior to the running of the first heat race of the day (NO EXCEPTIONS)
All used fluids must be in a container and taken with kart when leaving the OKS event grounds. No person will be permitted to dispose of any used fluid in any trash can, on the ground, in any container or otherwise in a manner that it would stay on the OKS grounds.
When any competitor starts the heat or race and is involved in an accident or mechanical failure deeming them unable to finish the event, that driver will be awarded last place points for that event.

Flags
Green - Each driver must take the green flag and must complete one full lap for driver to receive points.
The race will be determined as an officially started race by race officials and may in the event of an accident on the first lap grant an individual a few minutes to make repairs and return to the lineup. This decision however is solely up to the officials based on race time, repair time and likelihood of a safe and competitive return.
Any driver who "jumps" the start, may be moved to the rear of the field or disqualified. Warnings for such an infraction may or may not be given. The flagman starts the race with the green flag, not the karts reaching a certain position on the track.
Yellow - All yellow flags must be immediately and fully complied with by all drivers on the course. Drivers must slow to a pace speed and not race anyone in any way while caution is displayed. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
When a yellow flag is displayed, the whole track is under caution and therefore reverted back to the last fully completed lap scored to determine single file restart line up (exception of no completed laps in which a double file complete restart is in order).
Drivers involved in caution will go to the rear of the field in the order of the last scored lap.
Red - When a red flag is displayed, all drivers are required to stop their vehicles at the point they are at on the track unless directed to do so at another spot on the track by a series official. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
Drivers may not in any way work on their kart during the red flag, nor may any other person do so for them.
Drivers must stay with their kart during a red flag and must not leave the racing surface.
Drivers may not hand anything to anyone during a red flag, they must have everything on them and their kart as it was when the red flag was displayed.
No person other than the driver or series officials may enter the area the drivers are stopped in unless approved and witnessed by series official.
(NO EXCEPTIONS)
Blue w/ Yellow Stripe - Move over. If a driver is shown the move over flag, they are to comply while maintaining safe control over their kart and doing so in a manner not to block faster karts.
Black - Drivers given the black flag will be expected to leave the racing surface at the first available exit to the pits.
Once black flagged, driver may not return to the racing area unless series official allow any return.
White - Indicates one more complete lap of racing remains.
Checkered Flag - Driver taking the checkered flag while leading the race as scored by official scorer(s) shall be deemed winner of the race as long as the driver and kart has been determined to be in compliance of all the rules and regulations.
The checkered flag ends the race officially and all entrants failing to comply with any pre-determined rules and regulations will be penalized at series officials discretion.
Even after race completion, competitors may be penalized in any way for rule infractions including disruptive conduct as described in section 2 of the rules and regulations.
6. Inspection Procedures - In addition to any pre-race inspections that may occur, all karts are subject to a technical inspection if determined by series officials.
All technical specifications will follow current WKA Engine & Body rules.
Any person not willing to take place in post race inspections if such an inspection is requested by series official, will be subject to disqualification and possible point penalties or other penalties determined by the series after review.
7. Protest Procedures - Driver may protest any kart finishing directly in front of them as long as both drivers finish within the top five positions as determined by scorer at the checkered flag.
Protest must come directly after race finish. Protesting driver must inform track official immediately after checkered flag on which kart they are protesting. This must be done prior to the protester leaving the racing as both karts (protester and protested) will be teched based on which of the following items they wish to protest.
Carb - $25 - $5 to the series
Head and Carb - $75 - $10 to the series
Whole Motor - $150 - $50 to the series
The protested item(s) will be checked per section 6 specifications after fees for such protest are paid.
