A. Engines permitted:

Ford: 351 Cubic inches

GM: 350 Cubic inches

Chrysler: 360 Cubic inches

***1. .060's maximum overbore. No crossbreeding of engine parts. Ford Cleveland and Windsor parts can not be interchanged.

***2. OEM replacement flat top or concave pistons only. No dome or lightweight pistons.

*******A. Piston, pin, rod and ring combination must weigh 1000 grams in race ready condition.

*******B. Piston may protrude thru top of block a maximum of .005's. Zero deck plus .005's. Measured without head gasket.

*******C. Piston must have same appearance as stock manufacturers. Must have full skirt.

***3. Cylinder Heads;

**A - GM; - New - 3/7/2008 - Maximum valve size - 2.02 intake & 1.60 exhaust

*1. Any GM heads allowed. 2.02 valves allowed.

*2. GM angle plug heads allowed

a. Bowtie heads allowed wtih 2.02 valve.

**B - Ford; - New - 3/7/2008 - Maximum valve size - 2.02 intake & 1.60 exhaust

*1. Stock manufacturers head permitted.

***6. Crankshaft can be aftermarket but must weigh;

***7. Stock 2 barrel carburetor for engine used. Venturi area of throttle body of carburetor can measure no larger than the following;

A. Holley 2 barrel Keith D # 080583-1, must be unaltered.

B. If using a Victor Jr, Intake maximum spacer is 1.5".

***9.Stainless steel valves permitted. No titanium valves. No ceramic lifters or ceramic pushrods.

***10. Maximum 3 angle valve job.

***11. All casting marks must remain in cylinder head runners. No removing of metal from chambers of any cylinder head. No match porting.

B. Aftermarket Headers permitted. The following muffler required;

*1.1 or 2 untouched mufflers of the following manufacturer.

*2. Schoenfield # 92535 Hav-A-Tampa muffler required. This muffler is 9 inches long with a 31/2" inlet and outlet. It sells for around $30.00. Schoenfield manufactures all the turn downs, adapters, reducers, enlargers and all hardware, price is very reasonable.

*3. This is the same muffler the Hav-A-Tampa cars run. The manufacturer assured me this was a bolt on item that requires no engine alterations. He recommends the if you 2 into 1 outlet that you use 2 mufflers.

C. Any aftermarket flywheel permitted. If you use a stock type OEM clutch assembly you must have a Lakewood type blowproof. 3 or 4 speed transmissions only. Stock manufacturers transmission case required. Automatic transmissions permitted with aftermarket flywheel.

D. No magnetos. Any dual point or breakerless ignition permitted.

E. Clutches: All cars will be equipped with a workable clutch. Must be able to start out of gear then put in gear while running and be driven off.

F. Frames, Bodies, and Suspensions: 105 inch wheelbase minimum.

**1. Chassis - NO Offset chassis. Must be built straight up. See diagram below.

All safety requirements for car and driver same as late model stock car. Chassis requirements same as late model stock cars except where noted in these rules.

G. Rearends:

***1. Stock manufactures rearend can be retained. Floater rear permitted

***2. Quickchange rearend permitted.

***3. Rear-end cooler permitted.

H. Wheels and Tires:

***1. Wheels; 12" maximum width steel or aluminum.

***2. Wide 5 pattern permitted.

***3. If wheel spacers are used must be the same width from side to side.

***4. Tires: Must be purchased from Eastside Speedway. No soaking of tires.

I. Aluminum radiators permitted. Can not come thru hood.

J. Weight: All cars will weigh 3000lbs with driver after race. No weight break for wheel size or type of wheel. My scales are what we go by. No excuses, no bullcrap!

K. Speedway reserves the right to add weight to any car winning more than 3 races. Similar to LMSC program.

L. Engine Location: Spark plug of cylinder furthermost forward must split the ball joints. 1/2 inch tolerance.

N. Electric fuel pump permitted. Fuel pump must wire direct switch and race car must be equipped with a drag racing style master shutoff switch on right rear tail light area of car.

O. Drivers can run this division only, on a given night, without permission of speedway officials. Sportsman cars can not be borrowed to run in LMSC.
